ROER - Petrópolis ganha Prêmio Golden Antenna pela atuação na catástrofe em janeiro de 2011 na Região Serrana do Rio de Janeiro

Meus prezados,

Com muita satisfação recebemos a notícia de que a Rede de Operações de Emergência de Radioamadores - ROER foi escolhida para receber o Prêmio Golden Antenna em Bad Bentheim - Alemanha pela sua atuação na catástrofe no início do ano na Região Serrana do Rio de Janeiro.

Tivemos a oportunidade de trabalhar naquela ocasião como voluntários em Petrópolis. Com certeza um aprendizado e tanto.

Dear Mr. Francisco Jose de Queiroz,

Since 1982 the city of Bad Bentheim, Germany, awards the “Golden Antenna” to appreciate an outstanding humanitarian achievement on the field of amateur radio. The award is the result of a world wide convocation. A jury, consist of the presidents of five german and dutch amateur radio unions, takes the decision.

After sifting and evaluating the valid proposals of this year the jury decided to award the Golden Antenna 2011 to ROER – Ham Radio Emergency Operations Network. During 2010.

To honor its important part in Emergency Amateur Radio during the catastrophe in Mountainous Region of Rio de Janeiro in 2010/2011.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday, August 26th 2011 at 15:00 local time in the castle of Bad Bentheim during the opening of the 43. german-dutch amateur radio meeting.

The mayor of Bad Bentheim, Mr. Dr. Volker Pannen, would like to hand over the award that day to a representative of ROER. The complete costs in connection with travel and stay in Germany will be paid by the city of Bad Bentheim.

Please inform me as soon as possible, which person will visit us to receive the award.
